At the seminar of this exhibition, several big names in the industry gave speeches and shared the latest industry trends and the latest layout of company products.



Mr. Fan Guangyao, a representative of JADARD TECHNOLOGY INC. (hereinafter referred to as “JADARD Technology” or “the Company”), introduced the company’s rapid development stage in multi-port fast charging applications and core technologies and important solutions with “Multi-port Fast Charging Protocol Chip Solution” as the entry point at this seminar.

In this speech, Mr. Fan Guangyao, a representative of the company, focused on introducing JADARD Technology’s multi-port fast charging system solution. Before formally introducing the product solution, Mr. Fan Guangyao first pointed out two major changes in the current fast charging market: high frequency, miniaturization, high efficiency and high power density brought by gallium nitride devices; and the development trend and direction of fast charging protocol chips: multi-port output, multi-functional protection, intelligent power allocation, high protocol compatibility, high adaptability and PD3.1 protocol applications above 140W power.



For fast charging chargers, the two main trends in the current market are: higher and higher charging power and an increasing number of charging ports.


JADARD Technology has rich technical accumulation and product experience in the development of fast charging protocol chips. For the 20W three-port fast charging market, the JD6606S and FP6601AA chips can be used to complete protocol control. Among them, JD6606S is a hardware design that uses MPC function and FP6601AA to communicate with multiple ports, providing 20W power for the C port. When multiple ports are plugged in at the same time, the maximum output is 15 watts. Currently, this solution has been adopted by two products: Bull’s 20W 2A1C fast charging mini travel socket and Bull’s 20W 2A1C magic cube socket.

At the same time, JADARD JD6606S is also used for the development of PD fast charging products within 60W. It only needs to adjust the external RPDO resistance value to shorten the research and development speed and achieve high cost-effective products for hardware design. It has been mass-produced in Chengyue Electronics’ mini 20W PD fast charging charger.


In the face of the application of 120W high-power four-port fast charging charger, JADARD Technology has also launched a corresponding protocol chip solution. Two JD6621 chips and one FP6601AA chip can be used. When outputting from a single port, one C port supports 100W output, another C port supports 30W output, and two A ports support 18W output. When multiple ports are output, intelligent power allocation is supported, and the output capability of one A port at 65W can be guaranteed.

In the car fast charging market, products are also developing in the direction of high power and have evolved from simple A-port fast charging to multi-port A-C products to meet the charging needs of multiple devices.


For the common 100W 2C1A multi-port fast charging car charger on the market, JADARD Technology’s JD6621 fast charging chip can also be used for control. When outputting from a single port, the three ports support 100W, 30W, and 18W output respectively; when the three ports work at the same time, one port guarantees 65W output, and the other 1C1A supports 18W and 12W output respectively.


JADARD product layout in fast charging protocol chips can be mainly divided into four aspects: four single-port chips with hardware design are FP6601Q, JD6608, JD6620, and JD6606S; two multi-port fast charging chips with hardware design are FP6601AA and FP6606AC; three single-port fast charging chips that support secondary burning are FP6606A, FP6606B, and JD6621; and multi-port fast charging chips that support multiple burning are JD6621 and the newly released USB PD3.1 fast charging protocol chip JD6622. It provides and improves the protocol chip solution for fast charging power manufacturers to develop new products.


JADARD JD6621 high-integration protocol chip adopts QFN4*4-20L package, built-in ARM M0 32K Flash 4KB SRAM, supports PD3.0 and PPS fast charging and has passed the association certification, TID: 3543, and can also be compatible with a variety of mainstream fast charging protocols.

JADARD JD6621 also supports 1A 1C dual-port fast charging output and intelligent power reduction, supports over-temperature protection, output over-current protection, input over-voltage protection; supports I/O pin over-voltage protection, supports optocoupler and FB feedback, and can be applied to the field of adapters and DC-DC products.



JADARD JD6622 is the latest released USB PD3.1 fast charging protocol chip, using QFN5*5-32L package, built-in ARM M0 64K Flash 8KB SRAM, supports PD3.1 EPR 28V and UFCS, and is compatible with multiple protocols. It also supports independent fast charging output of dual C ports and intelligent power allocation.

In terms of protection, it also integrates over-temperature protection, output over-current protection, input over-voltage protection, and I/O pin over-voltage protection; supports I2C/UART functions, supports optocoupler and FB feedback, and is applied to products such as adapters and DC-DC.

At this exhibition, Mr. Fan Guangyao, a representative of JADARD Technology, mainly shared the company’s product technology in the field of multi-port fast charging protocol chips. At present, JADARD Technology’s product layout in the fast charging protocol chip market is very comprehensive, with layouts from single-port fast charging to multi-port fast charging. There are both fixed protocol high cost-effective fast charging chips and high-performance protocol chips that support multiple burning to meet the product development needs of different manufacturers and customers.

In addition to the existing mass-produced fast charging protocol chips, JADARD also released a chip JD6622 that supports USB PD3.1 140W fast charging and UFCS fast charging protocol to lay out the future power market in advance.
