JADARD TDDI (Touch and Display Driver Integration) driver chip supports various liquid crystal display technologies such as a-Si, LTPS, and IGZO, with a wide range of resolution coverage and support panel refresh rate up to 165Hz as well as multi-touch support.
The TDDI chip integrates the display driver and touch panel functions into a single chip, effectively increasing the integration of touch display devices, resulting in lighter, thinner, and more cost-effective mobile electronic devices with improved display effects.
Additionally, it can be paired with front-end platform to automatically adjust the screen refresh rate to reduce the computing power required for screen rendering and minimize issues such as tearing and stuttering. The latency is below 15ms, which helps enhance touch response speed and maintain a consistent screen refresh rate, achieving an optimal balance between display/touch performance and battery life. The new generation AFE architecture, designed independently, improves the signal-to-noise ratio for touch screens, mitigating the impact of noise on touch quality.
