For the purpose of sustainability, JADARD adopts the 'TIAN (Technology, Interdependence, Accountability, and Norm)' Strategy in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). Based on our core values, we implement our sustainability strategy through a cyclical process of 'Understanding and Communication, Planning and Execution, Effectiveness and Review, Improvement and Enhancement' to respond to selected prioritized SDGs.
2024 marked the beginning of JADARD’s journey towards systematic and standardized sustainability efforts.To implement the sustainability concept and improve the corporate governance structure, JADARD has established the Sustainability Committee under the Board of Directors in 2024 by expanding its functional committees. The Chairman of the Board serves as the Director of the Sustainability Committee to preside over its work. As the highest-level organization for sustainability management, the Sustainability Committee provides recommendations on corporate sustainability capabilities and oversees their implementation results. The Company has formulated and published the Sustainability Committee Working Regulations to standardize the composition, responsibilities, operations, and management of the Sustainability Committee, and to promote the implementation of ESG work. The Regulations clearly stipulate that the Committee shall consist of at least three directors, including at least one independent director. The Committee shall convene at least one meeting per year to jointly formulate and track the Company’s sustainability goals, and report on the progress of annual and medium-to-long term sustainability goals.
